Lilac Purple Whithal Tatum Mint Condish CD154 Insulator

Up for auction on this page is a CD154 Whithall Tatum No. 1 Insulator. This one has more character then most being the dome has some deep straw line swirling and another short deep straw line just right of the Whithall Tatum embossing in the front. It is embossed MADE IN U.S.A. with a number 26 below on the back skirt. This insulator is in perfect or mint condition. Please read the following information about the color before placing any bids. Once I was told by a fellow collector that Whitall Tatum Cd154 Insulators were made in a wide range of purple colors and that in the price guide they were all grouped in either the Dark Purple or Purple catagory.  I had told him that the insulators I had were more a lilac color when compared to any purple insulators pictured in the back of the price guide. Since that conversation, I've listed and sold a few of these at Ebay. There wasn't any issues about the color from any of my buyers when their insulator arrived. They all loved the color. Don't know what color your monitor will show you so please have a look at the Lilac insulator in the back of the price guide for accuracy. This has more character then most of those I sold. This one is in mint condition and has lots of deep straw lines all over the dome. Like the one I've sold previously this one will make an excellent addition to any collection.
