~A silent, illuminating presence is felt when looking at this extraordinary work of art ~ **In 2005 Bonham's sold a vase very similar to this one ,signed by Bischoff for $32,000<>when i look at the pictures of both vases, among the many similarities , there is one strong similarity, the roses...especially the soft pale pink roses....the ones on this vase and the ones on the signed Bischoff's,their similarities are striking,as is the artistic style...this artist's style is definitely influenced by / or attributed to Bischoff's work<>**there is a picture of the sigend Bischoff vase shown in the listing when you click on the picture of this vase, scroll to the bottom and it is thereAn extraordinary work of art ~ This vase is breathtaking ~**The signed Franz Bischoff charger in the back ground is not included in this listing,it is available for sale and listed separately ~

Hand painted on antique french Limoges porcelain ~ Perfection ~ beauty as i have rarely seen....full gorgeous roses in gentle shades of pinks, yellows and magenta...lush green leaves and trailing vines create the grace often sensed in one's own rose garden ~ The pictures do not reflect the true beauty of this timeless treasure. I have it positioned next to a signed original Franz Bischoff (it is available separately for sale). There is no mistake of the quality of art work ,time and precision that went into this gorgeous creation This extraordinary unsigned work of art is by an old master , handpainted by a truly gifted visionary ....the influences reminiscent of Franz Bischoff,George Leykauf or Franz Aulich are easily seen and felt with the carefully shadowed depths of light .... the perfection of color ... and the subtle quiet presence of humility Standing a full 22" H, the mouth is 5 1/4" across, the base is 6 " across, the circumference is a massive 24"....everyone that has entered my shop stands in awe of this magnificent creation It is in excellent to mint condition. bearing the Tressmann & Vogt mark #7 the underglaze whiteware mark ca. 1892-1907.Tressman & Vogt began manufacturing their own porcelain in 1891,their brief partnership lasted until 1907...Vogt had founded an export business in Limoges for exporting china to his New York based company and he also had a decorating studio in Limoges.....though the partnership lasted barely 15 years ....their hand painted and decorated little treasures are highly sought after with the discovery of Kaolin in 1768 France ,by 1820 Limoges had become the producer of the finest hard paste porcelain in the world. When a piece of true Antique Hard paste european porcelain is purchased the porcelain itself is also of great value. ... the unique ingredients that make the hardpaste and the individual firing process of each Limoges,Bavarian and Austrian porcelain creates the most exquisite translucency whereby light can pass thru and one can often see even their fingertips....when the glaze is applied during the second firing process the glass like nature of the glaze forms and now the glaze and the object actually fuses into one piece....it is this very unique quality of the european hard paste porcelain that helps to create it's value....as the decades and centuries pass the true Limoges,Bavarian or Austrian will not become crazed...these creations are not only sought after by collectors for their art work but for the porcelain quality itself. When asked about perfection in his work ~ Leykauf once responded ~ " When i get the wind blowing thru the petals, then i will have painted a rose " **lay~a~way is available **pardon any glare in my picture taking [R0733]
