I purchased this gorgeous handbag from a well known bag retailer. It’s Linea Pelle’s “Janis Fringed Clutch” which is now being carried by lots of celebrities whose names or photos I cannot include here or ebay will pull the listing. It’s the ultimate fringed boho clutch that’s made from soft, smooth, black cowhide leather with a deep luster satin finish that's slightly distressed from the washing process (that makes it soft). What makes it so special is the gorgeous leather fringe which is 8-1/2 inches long and hangs from the side and bottom seams. The hardware is silver-toned and the top has a zipper closure with wristlet zipper pull. There’s a zippered pocket on the front with a 12-inch leather tie zipper pull. The interior is the suede back side of the leather and inside there’s a leather slip pocket and enough space for all of the essentials - this isn't a tiny evening bag into which you can only fit your cell phone, keys and an ID card. This is an oversized clutch that will also hold a small wallet, checkbook, pen, compact and lip gloss. I’ve included a couple photos of my husband modeling the bag.  To help you envision size, Ron’s 5’ 7” tall and weighs 135.

About the Designer/Brand:

The history behind Hollywood's unabashed love-fest with Linea Pelle began with the company's illustrious co-founder, designer Mira Katz Anzaruth. Almost 20 years ago, when Mira was a designer and boutique owner in New York City, she noticed a severe style gap in the marketplace: there weren't any truly fabulous leather belts. So she created Linea Pelle, which produced distinctive belts that celebrities eagerly snapped up. The company expanded, with the guidance of handbag designer and Creative Director Andrew Cotton, and began producing washed Italian leather handbags in gorgeous, California-cool hues. Regardless of whether or not you’re interested in this listing or that of another seller, BEFORE you bid/buy, I would strongly recommend that you paste the auction link on the authentication thread of the Linea Pelle group of Purse Forum (www.purseforum.com). Although not professional authenticators, members there have special expertise in recognizing genuine bags. It’s what I do when I’m not sure myself from reviewing the listing photos or the seller doesn’t respond to or answer questions to my satisfaction. My TPF co-members have never steered me wrong. Since I purchased this bag myself from a retailer with whom I have lots of experience, I’m positive it’s authentic but if upon receipt and inspecting it yourself you have any doubts and the tags are still intact, the bag unused and all of the accompanying paperwork still present, please contact me immediately to request a return. However, I would suggest that you first take the bag to the reputable store of your choice that regularly sells Linea Pelle bags and ask them to confirm authenticity. Shipping Information:  

Shipping via insured UPS ground within the USA is free. To ensure there is a mechanism to cover potential damage or loss during shipment and document that the package was delivered to the intended recipient at the address specified on the PayPal payment notification, all packages shipped within the USA will be insured and require a signature for delivery. For those of you who work full time (like me), requiring a signature can be inconvenient. However, since the package will be shipped to the address specified on the PayPal payment notification, you can change the address in PayPal for that specific payment to your work or other location of your choice, such as a UPS store in your area. I wrap packages very securely and have not yet experienced damage or loss. But, there is always a first time for everything so the insurance protects us both. I'm sorry that I cannot afford to offer USPS as a free shipping alternative. If you choose USPS, please understand that the estimated cost includes not only the postage based upon the weight of the bag inside the shipping box w/packaging materials to keep it safe/undamaged during transit but also insurance coverage based upon the replacement value of the bag and the fee for signature required delivery.

I will do my best to securely wrap your package but if on the rare chance your bag does get damaged, please contact me immediately and keep the box and all packaging as the carrier will need to see it for the insurance claim. If you use a knife or other sharp object to open the box, be careful not to let it slip inside where it could penetrate the dust cover and cut the bag. Shipping insurance will not cover that type of damage.

International buyers, I'm sorry but I cannot afford to absorb your shipping cost, but I will do all you need me to do to "facilitate" customs clearance. Depending on value declaration, up to $100 of shipping insurance is included (the max amount the USA will cover and allow me to purchase).
