Presented for auction is the Lionel 18140 Milwaukee Road F-3 AB Diesel Set.  This set was built in 1998 and has been sold out for many years.  See separate listing for the 14562 Non-Powered A unit which Lionel made to go with this set in 2002.  The matching 19184 Milwaukee Passenger four car set will be listed shortly.  The 18140 engine set is brand new and has never been taken out of its boxes, except to be photographed for this listing.  This set is comprised of one 18138 (Powered F-3 A Unit) and one 18139 (Non-powered F-3 B Unit).  Greenberg's 2009 Pocket Price Guide lists this engine set at $600 in new condition.  This set has its original shipping carton.  Please note that to prevent additional wear on the original shipping carton, at no additional cost to the buyer, I will construct an additional shipping carton to encase the original one.  Finally, with regard to shipping costs, while we charge a flat rate for shipping, if the actual shipping charges are more than one dollar less than the flat rate charges, a refund for the entire difference between the flat rate and the actual shipping charges will be made to the buyer. Also we do not charge anything for our time or materials for packing and handling.
