This auction is for a Lionel #225 PREWAR 2-6-2 Pacific style STEAM ENGINE...One of Lionel's top of the Line locomotives at the time - made from 1938-42...this is a big diecast , all metal Engine featuring : Baldwin Disc Drive wheels , full operating Siderods & Valve-gear , Four Green glass Jewels [ all Intact ] ...Boiler front door opens to reveal Large sized Prewar Lightbulb , Turned Stantions holding the handrails , brass flagholders , This one Runs Excellent , Smooth & Strong both in Fwd & Reverse , E-Unit cycles correctly . nice bright Headlight , Nickle / Black Lionel Lines Number boards...looks all Original and is in Full Excellent Condition !...the Original BOX is beat-up and missing Flaps as shown , has a nice Liner that has done the job and kept the Engine is great condition !...a fine example of this big antique Lionel Locomotive...
