Mixture of Cladonia,Fruticose & British Soldier Lichens

 

Beautiful Lichens all grouped together in this inverted glass globe terrarium. The lichens do not need soil like a traditional terrarium. They grow over rocks other moss etc. The lichens are placed on a small piece of shhet moss. This is all then placed onto a stove base that is covered with a glass globe.
 
This makes it easy to rtemove the glass and check to see if they need water or to give it the air circulation it also needs.
 
The entire terrarium measures about 4"x 4" . A care tag is always attached to my finished terrariums. The lichens will be placed in a bag for protection during shipping and just need to be placed onto the sheet moss then the stone bottom then glass globe put on top.
 
The lichens will vary but are all similar to that which is depicted in photos here.
