Livid Instruments Ohm 64 MIDI Controller Overview
The Ohm64 is an adaptable, programmable, and interactive MIDI control surface designed to give you hands-on control over your performance. High-quality sliders, knobs and buttons provide the interface for creative expression, whether you're mixing samples and synths or DJ'ing a cutting-edge set. Constructed with an aluminum faceplate and a gorgeous body of hand-finished wood, the quality is felt down to your fingertips. All of our controllers are proudly hand crafted and assembled for artists by artists in our Austin, Texas shop.

The Ohm64 has bi-directional talkback communication allowing the controller to talk to your software, and software to your device. MIDI messages can be sent to the Ohm64 to light up the buttons for an interactive performance. Completely programable and mappable, the Ohm64 provides a flexible control surface that be used with any software or setup. Completely USB powered means you don’t have to worry about adapters and and power strips, and it is plug and play so no drivers are required.

TalkBack
All of the buttons have programmable LEDs, so you can create your own interfaces simply by sending MIDI commands back to the Ohm.

USB Powered and Plug and Play
The Ohm64 is completely plug and play and USB powered. This means you don’t need drivers to use it and it works with a single USB cable.

High Quality Faders and Knobs
The smoothness of the faders and knobs of the Ohm64 give it a true instrument feel. High quality dual rail sliders and all knobs give you precise hands on control.

MIDI In and Out
MIDI in and MIDI out jacks let you control analog MIDI devices or connect other controllers to your Ohm64. You can also send MIDI from your computer to the Ohm64.

Crossfader
We designed our DJ style crossfader to withstand heavy use and it comes with a custom wood knob designed for performance.

Ohm64 Editor
All of the assignments on the Ohm can be changed, remapped, and saved to the Ohm using our open source Ohm64 Editor software.

Custom Design
Our controllers are built by hand (with the help of a few robots) in our Austin, Texas shop. We offer multiple finishes as well as an unfinished model.

Cell DNA VJ Software
The Ohm64 comes with a full copy of our Cell DNA VJ software. We also offer a growing library of open source tools to transform you controller into a custom performance instrument.

The Ohm64 was designed as an adaptable control surface to be used with a wide range of software and applications. The bi-directional communication of the Ohm64 allows for a wide range of uses from DJing and producing to creating live visuals. If you are using it as a sequencer in Ableton Live, a video mixer in Cell DNA, or a interactive instrument in Max/MSP, it can be completely customized to play and listen to your software.

The Ohm64 Editor is an open source software tool we provide to let you have complete access to the MIDI messages and lighting on your controller. We have an “open minded” approach to our products and provide the source code to the software to encourage modifications and uses to be shared alike.

Included with the purchase of an Ohm64 is a full version of video performance software Cell DNA. Cell DNA is pre-programmed to be used with the Ohm64 and will light the clip bank to let you know what clips is currently selected and playing.

Return/Exchange Policies

General Return Policy Guidelines
Email us for a "Customer Return Authorization" number at returns@novamusik.com. All CRA numbers must be obtained this way. CRA numbers are good for 10 days after their issue date.

Full 30 Day Money Back Guarantee on all unopened items. Additionally, we offer a 15 Day Guarantee/Exchange Policy on all defective/broken units.

A 15% restocking fee will be assessed to any open product return.

After 15 days of the purchase date, all defective items that need to be repaired must be sent directly to the manufacturer or warranty provider. Additional details on warranty coverage can be found in the product paperwork or on the manufacturer’s website.

All products must be returned in like-new condition. Items must show no signs of wear, MUST INCLUDE ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING, all documentation, accessories and NOT REGISTERED. This includes all software that comes with the product. Additional fees will be applied for all missing accessories or parts and items that have been physically damaged or misused. The fee amount is subject to Nova Musik’s discretion.

Shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the item turns out to be defective (see below). All priority and international shipments are non-refundable even in the case of a defective item.

International customers must pay to ship item(s) back to Nova Musik in the case of a defective item(s). All goods must be marked as the CRA number authorization email describes otherwise the shipment will be rejected. We do not pay return import duties.

VERY IMPORTANT! Insure the item you are returning at your FULL INVOICE VALUE. We will do everything we can to help you file a claim for a damaged/lost shipment. Unfortunately, the shipping party is responsible if your returned merchandise ends up lost or damaged in the mail.

Please allow 2-3 weeks for all refunds to post to your account. On average banks will process a credit in 1-10 business days but may take up to 3 weeks.

Broken or damaged merchandise returned for replacement may take up to 5 business days to process. Please contact us to make sure that your product is in stock and ready to ship. We will do everything in our power to get your replacement unit to you as fast as we can.

Non-Returnable Items
Copyrighted materials cannot be returned once opened due to copyright law. This includes books, videotapes, DVDs, sample libraries, style disks, sound expansion boards, and software (which may also include software bundled with hardware).

Recording media such as DAT tapes or CDRs.

Disposable products including drumsticks and cleaning supplies.

Recording equipment including multi-tracks, hard disks, CD burners, tape recorders.

Personal use items such as microphones, headphones, ear plugs, in-ear monitors, and drum sets/kits.

All instrument/computer parts and upgrades including expansion boards, RAM, hard drives, flash media and sound cards.

Discontinued/clearance items.

Special orders may be returned within 15 days and a 25% non-refundable charge will apply.

Defective Product Returns/Exchanges
If you believe the product is defective, you must contact the manufacturer's tech support department before requesting a CRA number. Please be sure to include your case number with your CRA request. We will always exchange a defective unit for a replacement.

If an item arrives to you clearly damaged in transit please call us as soon as possible so we can arrange to have UPS or USPS inspect the damage and return it to us.

For international orders, please be advised that shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

You will be credited or a replacement unit will be sent once we receive and inspect the product. This usually takes 3-5 business days. If you require a replacement unit immediately, your credit card will be charged for the additional unit and we will credit your card once the defective item(s) arrive back at our store.
