Amish hand made -  these beautiful solid pine chairs are  made of Lodgepole Pine which is harvested after it's dead  and while the trees are still standing.The bark is hand peeled using the strip method , where some of the bark is left on to give it that natural , rustic look.

There is usually some checking with time (show small cracks) which will not diminish your furniture but will enhance it
