Care & Styling Instruction of the Wig
When not in use, store your wig on a mannequin or wig stand to maintain its shape. Frequency of cleaning will depend on your environment, lifestyle and amount of perspiration. Suggested guidelines for cleaning are after 10 to 14 days of wear. Only shampoos, conditioners, hair sprays and other styling accessories designed specifically for synthetic wigs should be used to take care of synthetic hair wigs. After shampooing and conditioning, make sure to rinse your wig thoroughly in cool water. Always use a soft towel and carefully blot dry (do not scrub). Allow your wig to dry naturally overnight on a wig stand. With synthetic wigs, the most you will have to do is shake out the wig to "wake up" the style and play with the bangs to get the look you want. The best styling tools for styling a synthetic wig are your hands - either to tousle the wig or smooth it down. Also use a comb or pick to achieve added fullness and slightly change the style. Also, never use heat on a synthetic wig, never comb the wig while it's wet, and never brush a curly style. It could undo the styling and damage the fiber. |
