Basket Measurements in Inches:  5 Long x 5 Wide x 2.5 High.  One Stationary Handle.

Napkin Measurements in Inches:  Approximately 19.25 x 19.50.

The Mother’s Day Collection began in 1987.  In 1991, a basket was woven for all customers, and a basket was woven for hostesses only.  The basket in this auction is the basket that was woven for hostesses only.

The “Special Things” Tie-On/Pin and the two vintage Blossoms Napkins are both Mother’s Day items.

We believe the Vintage Blossoms fabric for napkins and liners was available for a couple of years, but 2003 was the last year for this fabric.  2003 was also the year that the “Special Things” Tie-On/Pin was available.  It is crafted of pewter and ceramic.  It has a scalloped pewter border with a detailed design and a ceramic center with the design of the Vintage Blossoms fabric.  This piece can be worn as a Pin, or you can use it as a Tie-On.

Condition:  Basket:  Good for a basket that is 18 years old.  There is one weaving that has a very slight nick in it; otherwise, the rest of the weavings are all intact.  The weavings have taken on the patina of an older Longaberger basket.  This basket comes from a smoke-free home.
