Longaberger 1999 Magazine Basket with Protector-CLASSIC

Up for auction is a 1999 Longaberger Magazine Basket with protector.  This basket features two swinging handles secured by brass rivets.  It is in the classic stain and features ½” splints.  This handmade classic measures approximately 15.5" long x 8.5" wide x 11.25" tall, not including handles.  The bottom of the basket reads LONGABERGER BASKETS  HANDWOVEN U.S.A. and is initialed and dated by the weaver (JC/1999).   This basket is in used condition, with no broken or cracked splints.  It does have white and dark discolorations randomly scattered all around the basket due to use and wear.  I have tried to show these marks in the photos, so please look closely at photos 5 through 8.  Each photo represents one side of the basket.  The handles show some white marks and a couple of red marks (see photo 4).  The basket has been cleaned, so the marks are permanent.  The bottom of the basket shows dark and light wear marks, and the middle support splint has some small chips (see photo 9).   The protector has no cracks or splits, although there is some scratching.  The protector still has its original product label.  Authenticity certificate included.  The 80 cent shipping and handling fee represents my cost for the USPS tracking fee.
