Longaberger HOH 2008 Pink Ribbon Basket & "Support"

You are bidding on a Longaberger 2008 Horizon of Hope Pink Ribbon Basket Set and a Ty Beanie Baby named "Support".  The Basket Set includes the 2008 Horizon of Hope Pink Ribbon Basket, a Horizon of Hope Fabric Over-the-edge Liner, a Protector, a WoodCrafts Lid and a Tie-On.  The Basket Set and Beanie Baby have never been used, displayed or played with and they are in their original packaging in mint condition with tag.  They have also been in a smoke-free environment.

Every July and August since 1995, the Longaberger Company has had a Horizon of Hope Campaign.  During this campaign, for every Horizon of Hope Basket sold, Longaberger donates $2 to the American Cancer Society.  This year, not only do they offer $2 for every HOH Basket sold, but also $1 for every HOH Pottery Piece sold and $1 for every HOH Tote Bag sold!  Since 1995 Longaberger has donated over 14 million dollars to the ACS in hopes of finding a cure for breast cancer.

The Longaberger Company offered the 2008 Horizon of Hope Pink Ribbon Basket in their July and August 2008 campaigns.  The Basket is a larger version of the 2008 Horizon of Hope Basket.  The Basket is in the Whitewashed stain with a pink chain weave and trim strip.  The shape of the 2008 HOH Ribbon Basket is oval on the top and rectangular on the bottom with four points.  It has two swinging handles with brushed nickel rivets.  The Basket measures 12 3/4 inches long by 11 inches wide by 5 1/8 inches tall.  It's recommended weight use should not exceed 22 pounds.  The Liner has the Horizon of Hope Fabric that was introduced for the 1999 Horizon of Hope Basket and has been used ever since.  The Protector is dishwasher safe.  The WoodCrafts Lid is in the Whitewashed Stain with a Pink Ribbon Weave on the top.  The Tie-On is a porcelain pendant that features pink ribbons and antique silver finish zinc charms that are engraved with "mothers", "sisters", "friends" and "daughters".  The 2008 Horizon of Hope Pink Ribbon Basket Set is retired.

The Ty Beanie Baby is named "Support".  "Support's" Date of Birth:  October 1st, 2007.  On the tag reads:  "As support continues to grow, And with the help of friends that we know, Working together, one thing is for sure, Someday very soon we will find a cure!"  Ty also donated a portion of the profit from the original sale of the "Support" Beanie Baby to help aid in the fight against breast cancer.
