Longaberger JW Med Market Basket Combo 1983 RARE

This fine basket is the first in the JW series!  It is the one that started the collection!  Every serious collector needs this one!  It is the Longaberger 1983 J. W. Collection Medium Market Basket.

When this basket was made, longaberger did not have liners or protectors in their line as yet.  The JW Plaid liner was added in 1993.  The protector is a genuine Longaberger (it will fit any medium market basket)  The basket measures 15" x 10" x 7.5" tall. The basket is in excellent condition for its age.  None of the upslpints are cracked or split.

This basket also has a huge bonus!  There are 10 signatures on the bottom!  One is Bonnie Hague, the second employee hired at Longaberger.  The pother 9 signatures are of the Longaberger family.  They are Genevieve #1, Wendy#2, Jerry #3, Larry #4, Rich #6,Judy #8, Ginny #9, Gary #10 and Carmen #11.

Only 6,300 of these baskets were ever made!
