This is lovely old vintage carved shell cameo that is just loose and not set. This is a classic lady profile cameo. This cameo is oval and measures approx. 1.25x .75". This cameo to me is at the edge of the era of finely carved old cameos. This is a "Flapper Era" circa 1920s "Bacchante" style cameo, with the hair more "bobbed" that flowing as is seen in the Victorian Cameos, but she is in my mind just as nicely done. The scans are pretty accurate, so the viewer can see what they think of this piece and the condition for themselves. Often times people brought these cameos back as souvenirs from Italy and had them later set. There is some minor striations on the upper edge of the cameo from the carving process and that little white area is just a stray piece of fiber that was on the glass of my scanner. I consider this cameo in overall good condition for its age. I think if one has a nice retro finer brooch that needs a cameo, that this would fit the bill. I am pleased to offer this older pretty lady cameo for consideration. Check out my other items!

I DO NOT sell to Poland or Spain. The mail is too slow and complaints are too high, mail delivery rates have been 1-2 months!. Postcards are shipped in cardboard and rigid plastic sleeves to protect from damage, I DO NOT profit from postage.

The postage cost for outside the US is $3.00 for postcards in the rigid protector. Please inquire regarding postage rates for other items outside of the US.
