Lord of the Rings -- Jens Hansen One Ring Replica

I'm parting with one of my most treasured replicas, the One Ring and Frodo's Chain from Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy.  Both the ring and chain are crafted by famous Kiwi jewelers Jens Hansen studios, who made the actual screen-used props for the New Zealand production.

Even better, the winner of this auction will be getting a special bonus.  Mine was the first replica that Jens Hansen studios made available to the public.  Shortly after the first installment, the Fellowship of the Ring, I contacted Jens Hansen studios to find out some information about the rings used in the move, with the hope of getting some dimensions so I could find a wedding band similar to the screen used ring that Frodo carried on his adventures.

To my great surprise and joy, the studio offered to sell me the wedding band that they had used as the basis for the movie ring.  Making this fortuitous acquisition more special, I received a handwritten note of provenance, which I will include with the Ring.  Also included is their exact replica of the Chain they supplied for the production that Elijah Wood wore on his neck to bear the ring.  The Ring is in mint condition and is 18K [see correction below] with a subtle Jens Hansen hallmark inside.  The Chain is sterling silver.  

To recap, the lucky collector who wins this auction will get the Ring, the Chain, and the handwritten note I received from the jeweler.  Upon request, I will provide a separate note on my personal letterhead describing the provenance of this rare collectible.

This is a no-reserve auction, with a starting bid almost 65% below the original cost, which went up sharply after Jens Hansen studios began to sell the replicas more widely.

UPDATE: I found the original paperwork.  It's actually 14K.  And I checked out the Jens Hansen website.  Currently they sell the 18K version as the standard version, for over US $2,200.00!!!  If you want to get a different version, like 14K, you have to request a quote.  But I have to believe that the 14K currently goes for at least $1.800.00.  Mine could be quite the bargain for a lucky collector.  Also, it makes a great everyday wedding band.  The size is approximately US 8.5.
