We just bought out a long time Phoenix surplus electronics distributor. All of these parts are absolutely "as new", most are aerospace quality, and most are leading traditional American brands. The bulk of the items are unused production overstock. Offered items are not ROHS compatible or compliant.

Offered here are lots of seven older but superbly rugged Teledyne Relays I/O Converters model 673-21. These are basically a safety isolated dc input dc output optocoupler intended for shop floor and machine tool PLC uses. They are also ideal for PIC's and other microprocessors for a really tough input interface.

Unit accepts a 3 to 30 volt dc input at low current, safety isolates it and uses it to activate a NPN open collector phototransistor. You connect your PLC or micro power supply to the DC+ and DC- output pc style pins. You usually add an external 2.2 K resistor between the output terminal and the DC+ terminal. The output stays high in absence of a dc input input; It goes low with the input present.

DC input terminals are smaller push-on Faston style and are barrier protected.

"L" shaped plastic cases measure roughly two inches square by one inch wide. An internal LED lights when all signals and power and pullup resistors are properly applied.
