Lot 8 Haviland Limoges Porcelain Salad Plates

Description

You are bidding on this fantastic lot of eight (8) Haviland Limoges Porcelain Salad/Dessert Plates.

This is an adorable set of plates with soft scalloped design with raised panels extending inward. The rims are trimmed in gold leading into a 2” soft pink glaze with yellow flowers (chrysanthemums) that have gray leaves. The center is white with center flower motif the center has a gold ring as well.

The bottom has two marks Haviland & Co. Limoges in red, 1876-1878/1889-1931 and H&Co/L in green 1876-1889; I believe.

Each plate measures 7 ¼” in diameter and in excellent antique condition with mild wear commensurate with age and usage. No chips or cracks on five; three have flea bites on the rims

This is a wonderful old Limoges set, perfect for use or display.
