A reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. This price is hidden from bidders. To win, a bidder must have the highest bid and have met or exceeded the reserve price.
Mixed lot of flatware and serving pieces from an estate sale that spanned several generations. I think most of these pieces are silverplate, but a couple might be silver. There are 18 pieces in all (14 pictured here, but I found three more spoons and a knife that will be included). Markings include "Isabella Silverplate USA" "1847 Rogers Bros." "Crown Silver Co." "NSC E.P.N.S." "Wm Rogers & Son A A" "Rogers 12OZ" "Elmwood EP Pat. 1915" "EXTRA Coin Silver PLATE" "R C Co" "Community Plate" "WB & Co". A few pieces are either not marked, or I can't read the marking. All the pieces are tarnished and need to be cleaned and polished. One piece is a long fork (cocktail?) with what looks like a bone handle--the handle is cracked and not firmly attached to the fork.
