Lot of 2 Vintage Pfaltzgraff Mini Casseroles Au Gratins

Lot of two vintage Pfaltzgraff individual casserole baking dishes, aka au gratin dishes, in the Village pattern.  Set of two.  Each is signed with incised "Pfaltzgraff," Pfaltzgraff logo, "U.S.A," and the number "265."  No chips, cracks or hairlines.  A bit of wear to the edge trim, appropriate for its age.

Remember, these are vintage and antique items, and are old. Old things show signs of age, which most collectors and dealers view as beautiful, as "patina," and as signs of authenticity. If you are looking for something that looks "new," you may want to forego antiques and vintage items, and focus your bids on brand new reproduction pieces sold elsewhere. But if you want the sense of history antiques and vintage collectibles carry with them, you are in the right place.

IF YOU ARE PURCHASING SEVERAL ITEMS: WAIT FOR MY INVOICE at close of auction, and do not respond to eBay's automated payment notice. Ebay's "auction won" notification is often inaccurate in figuring the shipping charges and you may well be overcharged or undercharged for shipping, necessitating further billing and payment. I SHIP ON MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, AND FRIDAYS. IF A HOLIDAY FALLS ON A REGULAR SHIPPING DAY, THAT SHIPPING DAY SHIFTS TO THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY. YOUR ORDER WILL BE SHIPPED ON THE FIRST REGULAR SHIPPING DAY AFTER YOUR PAYPAL PAYMENT CLEARS. EXCEPT DURING THE LATER PART OF THE HOLIDAY SEASON (about December 15 through about December 23, during which time we ship within 1-3 business days), WE GENERALLY SHIP WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS after receiving your cleared PayPal payment. We cannot control time of delivery once the shipment has left our door. Be aware of this and do not give bad feedback for "slow shipping" when we fulfill this promise. (We do leave feedback in kind.) If you need quicker service be sure to a) order an expedited shipping method such as Priority or Express mail; and b) TELL ME you need expedited service - I cannot know this if you do not tell us (add'l handling charges may apply for expedited service).

SHIPPING COSTS PLEDGE: We will refund any part of your shipping and handling charges that exceed our actual shipping-related costs. Our shipping-related costs do include a reasonable handling and materials fee, as is standard in the internet marketplace. Normally, our handling and materials fees do not exceed $3.50, and sometimes, but rarely, reaches $4.50 (and only once reached $5.00, for a fragile and complicated-to-ship item). Our handling/materials fee only partially covers our shipping-related costs (materials, worker time, etc.) If the amount you paid for shipping exceeds your actual postage plus our $3.50 handling and materials fee (or necessary higher handling materials fee for the rare items requiring it)we will refund the difference. (If your package requires the higher s/h fee, we will explain it in our shipping notice). We further pledge that, if our actual shipping, handling, and materials costs exceed that which we charged you at close of auction, we will NEVER require you to pay the difference. This is our pledge to you.

I do not see email messages, whether replies to my emails or original messages sent to my email address, because they go into an unmonitored office computer jointly used by more than one store. So if you want me to see your message and reply to you, use the Contact Seller link.

Substantial shipping discount on multiple purchases, shipped in same box. 50% discount (shipping only) on 2nd and 3rd items, and 75% discount (shipping only) on every item after that. If you wish to bid on additional items after winning an auction, contact seller immediately after first auction closes. Item with highest shipping charge with be charged at full rate, regardless of order in which auctions closed. Discounts applied in order of highest shipping charges. E.g., if you buy a dress that ships for $8 and a book that ships for $1.50, I will charge $8.75 for shipping. If you buy a widget that ships for $10, and win five book auctions where each book ships for $1, and if they all fit in the same box, I will charge you $10 shipping for the widget, $1 for shipping the first two books, and $.25 for shipping each of the remaining three books, for a total of $11.75 shipping charges.
