Item Descriptions:  We are not experts about most things; however, we do our best to describe items accurately, especially regarding their condition.  We also may not know which features of an item are the most important.  Please ask any specific questions you may have before bidding.

Postage/Handling: Our shipping charge includes $1.00 for handling on most items (rarely more on large or oddly-shaped items).  The postage we charge is a good-faith estimate of what it will cost us to ship but may not be the exact amount it ends up costing us.  We cannot control postage rates and we do not try to make money off of shipping charges.

Payment: We prefer PayPal, but we also accept money orders, cashier’s check and personal checks.  Please either pay by PayPal or let us know how you will be paying within three days of the close of auction.

Insurance: Because of our experience with receiving damaged merchandise, we require insurance on any fragile and/or expensive items , for your protection and for ours.  Insurance is optional on other items. We cannot assume responsibility for uninsured items once they have been shipped. If your item is insured, you agree to file the insurance claim with the Post Office.

Shipping: Our goal is to ship within 3 business days of receiving payment. Usually we make it, but sometimes we're busy and it takes a bit longer.

Shipping outside the U.S.:  We have shipped to Canada, Europe and Hong Kong and are willing to ship to other places.  Please contact us before bidding to be certain we are able to make arrangements to ship to you and to get an estimate for shipping.

Returns: We will refund the purchase price of your item within 7 days of receipt only if we have misrepresented it.  Please communicate with us before returning anything!

Smoke/Allergies: Our home is non-smoking, but we do have a dog and a cat.  We don't know about the home environments of the items we acquire at sales and at auctions, but we won't sell things that reek of smoke.
