Offered for auction is a lot of 4 hardcover antiquarian/collectible on medicine, surgery, psychology, and administrative health books. Collection includes:

1. Classics in Medical Literature. Commentaries on the History and Cure of Diseases by WIlliam Heberden, M.D., 1802 (reprint by Lederle Laboratories), 483 pages, Hardcover, blue cloth.

2. Psychology, The Fundamentals of Human Adjustment by Norman L. Mann, 1946, Boston, MA, Houghton Mifflin Company, 497 pages, Hardcover, green cloth. This tome is  fully illustrated with Hundreds of photographs of  medical, psychological and psychiatric cases, including  psychiatric and hysterical patients as well as anatomic and physiologic sketches. Some plates are in color (color blindness, etc).

3. and 4. (2 volume set) From The Mayo Clinic and The Mayo Foundation, Volume 53  by  Carl M. Gambill, M.D. (ed.), 1962, Philadelphia, PA, W.B. Saunders Company, 436 and 522 pages, Hardcover, gray cloth, illustrated. These the Mayo clinic volumes are heavily and fully illustrated with Hundreds of graphs, scientific tables, most of them photographs of pathological, anatomic tissues or gross specimens,  as well as diseased and traumatic processes and injuries-- graphic medical illustrations and sick patients with every kind of illnesses (not for the faint-heart!).
 


Pages in all volumes are in excellent condition, clean, crisp, with no highlighting. All bindings are tight with no loose or missing pages. There are no library marks on any of these volumes, making them ideal for display in your library!
