Lot of 5 Belgariad PB David Eddings Pawn Queen Gambit

This listing is for the set of David Eddings Belgarid Series Set Saga Paper Back books, Volume 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5.  All are in good used condition, the spines have some creasing and pages are browning, and #2 the cover has a piece missing (see photo), they are a nice set.  See Photo for actual books.

Book One: Pawn of Prophecy - Long ago, or so the Storyteller claimed, the evil God Torak sought domination and drove men and Gods to war. But Belgarath the Sorceror let men to reclaim the Orb that protected men of the West. So long as it lay at Riva, the prophecy went, men would be safe. But that was only a story, and Garion did not believe in magic dooms, even though the dark man without a shadow had haunted him for years.  Brought up on a quiet farm by his Aunt Pol, how could he know that the Apostate planned to wake dread Torak, or that he would be led on a quest of unparalelled magic and danger by those he loved--but did not know?

Book Two: Queen of Sorcery - Legends told of how the evil God Torak had coveted the power of the Orb of Aldur, until defeated in a final battle. But the prophecy spoke of a time when he would awake and again seek dominance over the world. Now the Orb has been stolen by a priest of Torak, and that time is at hand.

Book Three: Magician's Gambit - A princess, joining the quest for a missing magical orb that may protect the land from Torak, begins to fall in love with the former farmhand Garion, whose powers keep growing stronger. The third book in the Balgariad series.  Ce'Nedra, Imperial Princess of Tolnedra, was confused. Everyone knew the tales of the Orb that protected the West from the evil God Torak were just silly legends. But here she was, forced to join a serious and dangerous quest to recover that stolen Orb.

Book Four: Castle of Wizardry - The Orb of Aldur has finally been regained and the quest is finally nearing its end.  Of course, the questors still had to escape form this crumbling enemy fortress and flee across a desert filled with Murgo soldiers searching for them, while Grolim Hierarchs strive to destroy them with dark magic.  Then, somehow, they must manage to be in Riva with the Orb by Erastide.  After that, however, Garion was sure that his part in these great events would be finished.  But the Prophecy still held future surprises for Garion - and for the little princess Ce'Nedra!

Book Five: Enchanter's End Game - The quest was over. The Orb of Aldur was restored. And once again, with the crowning of Garion, there was a descendant of Riva Iron-grip to rule as Overlord of the West. But the Prophecy was unfulfilled. In the East the evil God Torak was about to awaken and seek dominion.
