Louis XVI Provincial Carved Fruitwood Buffet 1800s

Description:
This listing is for Louis XVI Style French Provincial Carved Fruitwood A Duex Corps Buffet from the 1800s.  It is a quite uniquely marble topped buffet, as these usually have a wood top.  It separates into two pieces, as the top lifts off of the marble from two dowel base pillars that sit comfortably in the marble top.  The entire piece is crafted by hand, with hand carved corners, hand dovetailed drawer construction, carefully hand carved panels and an intense crest.  It appears to theme carvings around a rose design.  The hardware appears to be original, and much of it appears to be uniquely crafted just for this piece - note the carefully crafted handles.

The buffet measures 57.5" wide, is 18" deep and sits 38" high to the marble.  The height to the top of the buffet is 82.5".

Condition:
Visually Outstanding Condition - Some defects of this antique piece include:
Minor wear in the form of non noteworthy scratches, scuffs on feet, and minor abrasions.  No key.  Minor finish loss where it appears a sticker was removed at one point - see pictures.  Minor worm damage, as typical with fruitwood.
