Love Shack is a Beautiful Piece Designed By Master Carver Peter Calvesbert to depict how the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker stayed so elusive over the years, from the Treasure Jest Collection.  This boxed figurine features a Tree Stump with one Ivory-Billed Woodpecker resting on the exterior of its Trunk as the other pokes his head out from a hole peering down at a sign marked "Swamp."  On the backside of the Tree is a Squirrel running downward, perhaps looking for a way inside the bird's home?  The front of the Tree appears to have a large section of bark pecked off.  Love Shack Style #TJWD measures at about 2.75"x2.5"x3.75" in size.  Item Is Sold Brand New.

When you remove the squirrel vertical sliding door the inside reveals the Ivory-Billed Woodpeckers Nest with the backside of Woodpecker peering out, a light bulb on the ceiling, and a sign reading "Home Sweet Home" on one wall. Written on the floor are the words "Wild Birds." The interior of the sliding door is actually a cupboard stocked with jars labeled Grubs, Nuts, Bugs, and Tea.  Written under one of the Cupboard shelves is the inscription "C. Eckman" referring to a Harmony Kingdom Collector who requested a Ivory-Billed Woodpecker piece to be carved years ago.

This Box Figurine was designed to Celebrate the Rediscovery of The Ivory-Billed Woodpecker in Arkansas of 2004, which had been believed to be extinct!  Love Shack is the first box figurine by Peter Calvesbert to have a vertical sliding door.
