Lovely Victorian Gold & Enameled Bar Pin

Presented is a lovely, Victorian gold bar pin. This Etruscan Revival pin is highly decorative, with intricately carved and enameled designs as well as an arrow and star applied piece in the middle. The middle of the applied star is set with a small genuine pearl.

This pin is not marked, not at all unusual considering the age. The pin is not solid gold. It is gold plated or gold filled, although would fool just about anyone.

This piece is in great condition and there is only minimal wear to some of the enameling, as you can see in the photos below. The pin stem on the reverse has been replaced, otherwise everything else is original. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits and no other repairs.

The pin measures 2 1/4 inches wide and weighs 4.8 grams.
