Ludwig snare drums are the most toured and recorded snare drum in the world and with a good reason. From the smooth round perfection of the bearing edge to the precision cut of the snare bed, Ludwig snare drums are in a league of their own.

Ludwig drums is honoring Bill Ludwig with "The Chief" titanium snare drum, a limited edition professional snare drum featuring titanium shells by Ronn Dunnett.
 
The L2006 is a 6 1/2"x14" titanium snare drum that features a thin, light .035" Titanium shell - 800 grams / 1.8 lbs. - the thinnest, lightest snare shell on the market. The drum is 3.7 kilos / 8 lbs., perfectly round and polished to a high luster.
 
This great drum performs with a low, dark, fundamental sound and has an incredible wide tuning range. It features ten Imperial lugs, stamped chrome plated triple flanged hoops, adjustable air vent, and Dunnett snare strainer and butt plate.
 
A specially minted drum badge featuring Bill Ludwig II "the Chief", commemorates his historic contributions to drums and drumming.
