As part of Ludwig's 100th Anniversary celebration, the most famous name in drums has added some great kits to their lineup. This brand new Ludwig Centennial Series 4 piece drum set will arrive in brand new, factory sealed boxes. With all maple shells finished in a gorgeous Transparent High-Gloss Lacquer, this set looks just as good as it sounds. Additional features inculde Ludwig's new Classic Micro Lugs, Vibra-band mounting system on the toms and 6-ply North American Maple shells (8-ply on Kick & Snare.)

Moving into the company’s 100th Anniversary in 2009, Ludwig Drum Co. proudly introduces new Centennial Series Maple Drums. An to answer the demands of today’s touring drummer, Centennial Series Drums start with 6-ply (toms and floor toms,) and 8-ply (snare and bass drums) North American Maple shells. Augmented with Ludwig’s new Classic Micro-Lug, Vibra-band mounting system on toms, and 2.3mm drum hoops, Centennial Series presents the road-worthy player with new ways to expand their spectrum of tone.

Centennial’s “Core” shell pack comes standard with a bass drum (22” with a 20” depth for added low and punch,) a 12” rack tom, 16” floor tom, and snare drum. Finished in a stunning transparent high-gloss Lacquer for a spectacular look to augment Centennial’s massive sound. Centennial Series Drums are Ludwig’s answer to the battle-cry of the mobile percussionist.

This kit is available in the following finish options:
