I started this series of  dreamy,  subconcious type of works to satisfy the calling to paint WHATEVER happens to come into my head.  Each piece in this series takes hours to complete. My price reflects this dedication and so will the collectibility factor!

THE PROCESS:

My process in painting this series is much different than past artwork. It involves more use of Right Brain thinking. I start by carefully choosing my palette of colors. I randomly place the color on the card. When the color is dry I look at the card without thinking. Shapes and "visions" reveal themselves in the paint. I then build on thse images with ink. Another layer of watercolor is applied, and another if I feel I need more depth. After this I embellish the piece with highlights of Gold, Copper and Silver leaf as well as iridescent pigments. Sometimes I'll add impasto type paints for an even more 3D effect

NOTE:  I will be listing the paintings in this series with a starting price.  If it doesn't sell for that price during the auction process, the price will go UP when I add it to my store.  If you wish to collect one of these special works at the lower price make sure you bid before auction end!


About This Piece: 

Embellished with iridescent pigments as well as gold and copper leaf that can only be seen in the light!

This little piece has been painted with professional Ink and Watercolor PAINTS on heavy professional illustration board.   Digital imaging cannot capture the true spirit of the original work. A protective coat has been applied. A very unique, Surreal piece of tiny art for the discriminating collector!
