Lynette Scavo - Madame Alexander FAO Schwarz exclusive NRFB  ~  Okay, these dolls are a lot of fun but, I suspect, with $129.95 suggested retail prices back in 2007, exclusive availability from F.A.O. Schwarz, and supposedly limited editions of only 300 per piece, that very few people will be turning these dolls over to children for play time! You get the doll mentioned above in her original box as well as the original factory carton. The doll has never been removed from the box! All photos are stock but they do represent the doll you will get. Yes, the factory cartons have been opened.

Made by Madame Alexander, one of the best known and most respected names in doll collecting. there were five 16" fashion dolls based on the Golden Globe Award winning ABC television series, Desperate Housewives. Each of their outfits is meticulously reproduced from one worn by her unique character on the show. The ladies were available exclusively at two FAO Schwarz locations and through their website. By the way, these dolls make Barbie look like a midget. Even if you despise Housewives these dolls are fully a part of the Madame Alexander fashion doll line.

Original Press Release: Susan, Bree, Lynette, Edie and Gabrielle, dressed in outfits inspired by the hit show Desperate Housewives, are now available at FAO Schwarz! Suggested retail price is $129.95 for each doll. Alexander Doll Company’s Desperate Housewives dolls, miniature recreations of the ladies from Wisteria Lane, are the perfect figures of poise and style to welcome into your neighborhood.

Take Note (and I apologize in advance for insulting the intelligence of the vast majority of you): 1) You get only the single doll mentioned in the title of this lot. You do not get any of the others mentioned in the Press Release. Just because I list the whole line does not mean you get them. 2) The cover of Fashion Doll Quarterly is shown for reference. It does not mean that you get a copy of the magazine with the doll nor that I can sell you a copy of the magazine. 3) One of my illustrations shows the full 2007 line of DH dolls. Once again, this picture does not mean that you get the whole set. If you do not understand these notes then please, please, don't bid on my lots.
