M1 garand rear sight base New, Old Stock

The auction is for ONE rear sight base pulled from the original package. 

This is a New, Old Stock, rear sight base for the M1 Garand.
They are packaged in the VCI paper shown and have never been used. They have the original dark gray parkerized finish.

The white flakes on them in the pics are theVCI powder, and it wipes right off.

Some other parts dealers refinish small parts like this and call them new. I guarentee this is an original rear sight base from the wrap, with the original finish.
