M1910 Canteen Cover, Made in USA, NEW

Exact copy of the WWII canteen cover. The #8 canvas and gray wool lining are identical to original materials, as are all hardware used. When we started making our pattern, we discovered that there are 2 or 3 different sizes of the things (whether this was intentional or some of the factories had sloppy cutting departments we don't know). We chose to go with the larger size as this prevents the "tar baby" syndrome common to those with small or shrunken covers when they try to remove their canteen cups.

We have manufactured our own W.W.II US field gear since 2001. This required a large investment in webbing, canvas, hardware, sewing machines and silk screening equipment. We are now confident that we make the best gear since W.W.II. Our gear is made in the USA with mostly US materials. Most other repro US gear is made in India, Pakistan, China or Mexico with predictable sacrifices in quality. The material bleeds color, the grommets pull out and the buckles break. We have gone to great lengths to duplicate the quality, color and pattern of original gear. It should perform and last as well as original gear, if not better.  You can compare it to the cheap stuff, but there really is no comparison.
