This auction is for a brand new, unissued M85 Romanian Army Military Surplus Gas Mask with a new sealed 40mm NATO NBC screw on filter. This is a brand new package that includes a gas mask, filter, carry bag and a canteen with a drinking tube. All items were made in Nov/Dec 2001, so these mask are some of the newest ones you'll find on the market today! It's available in three sizes for a perfect fit, but the medium and large will fit almost all adults. This is the finest military surplus mask I've seen and is in a factory sealed box in perfect condition. This item is just like a parachute - when you need it, it's too late to start looking for it! The filter is NBC (Nuclear, Biological & Chemical) rated and one of the newest on the market.

To determine correct size, measure the distance between the bridge of nose (between the eyes) and the bottom of the chin.

Size I (equivalent to a Large) should fit 4.921" (125mm) or more.

Size II (equivalent to a Medium) should fit 4.331" to 4.921" (110-125mm).

Size III (equivalent to a Small) should fit 4.331" (110mm) or less.
