MAD MAGICIAN DVD 1950's HORROR VINCENT PRICE!

Don Gallico(VINCENT PRICE), inventor of magician's stage illusions decides to become a magicain himself- GALLICO THE GREAT!! However Gallico is thwarted at every turn by an unscrupulous partner, conniving ex-wife (played by EVA GABOR) and rival magician (JOHN EMERY). Driven insane, he disposes of the three by decapitation with a buzz saw using his own stage invention; strangulation and cremation in a device that was his ultimate illusion. Pretty MARY MURPHY plays his assistant who inadvertantly leaves the magician's studio with a human head in her hatbox!!! PATRICK O'NEAL is the boyfriend who races to keep his gal from becoming the next victim of... THE MAD MAGICIAN!!! Produced on the heels of Price's success in the 3-D thriller, HOUSE OF WAX, this film shares similar plot devices no doubt because both screenplays were written by Crane Wilbur. The film is directed by John Brahm. THE MAD MAGICIAN was released theatrically in 3-D though this version has only two dimensions. 1954, black & white with a 72 minute running time, digitally rematered and recorded in NTSC format. Used but like new.
