This combines 3 issues of CELEBRITY DOLL JOURNAL with biography of Madame Beatrice Alexander and then information on her dolls.  The CELEBRITY DOLL JOURNAL is known for its primary research in depth and here it includes company promotions,  ads especially aimed at toy department buyers, plus catalog features.  Published without company tie-up or censorship, it includes many of Madame's own promotions of the dolls from PLAYTHINGS that went to toy buyers with heavy sales pitches and long before there were collectors or a club.  May 1976 covered background and dolls up to 1940 including those early book character cloth treasures, marionettes, composition including THE LITTLE COLONEL as well as both a biography and bibliography of Madame Alexander.   August 1976 continued with the compositions from Flapper Fanny and the Dionne Quints, Princess  Elizabeth, McGuffey-Ana, Pigtails, Jane Withers, Wendy Ann, GONE WITH THE WIND and more, even an Alexander dress for babies.  November 1976 had more Quints, more photos of Madame, walkers and babies, Doll of the Month Club and Little Shavers plus lots more.  A total of 56 pages, very popular with serious Alexander collectors.
