Rare Earth DISC Magnets
One lot of 160
DISC magnets pictured above.
Magnetic
poles are the flat circular ends at the top and bottom of each stack above.
Introducing the smallest rare
earth magnet I have to offer. Amazingly strong for their very small size.
Unlike
larger sizes of rare earth magnets, these small DISCS do not chip or break, while handling them. Most medium and large sizes of NdFeB
will chip or break if allowed to smack together but these small DISCS do not
tend to suffer any damage unless they are allowed to smack a much larger uncovered magnet.
Each of these neodymium DISC magnets
measure
0.156" in
diameter and are 0.03" thick.

These small DISC magnets
do a fine job of holding pictures to a fridge or file cabinet. A single
magnet is enough to hold a large 4 x 6 photo print! Additionally,
paper notes are easily held to the fridge, file cabinet or to any ferrous
surface. A single magnet holds
3 stacked sheets of 8.5" x
14" paper, to my file cabinet!

handling strong magnets. The neodymium magnets are brittle and can chip or break
if they are allowed to smack together.
The smacking of magnets can be avoided by sliding them apart as well as sliding
them back together. These magnets are capable of pinching
the skin. You must not get them too close to tapes, wind-up watches, credit
cards, floppy discs, etc.; (2" is a safe distance). Neodymium magnets can cause
permanent damage to older TVs and other electronic equipment; (8" is a safe
distance).
