Antique Print Description

This genuine antique engraved print is titled "MAJOR-GENERAL NATHANIEL P BANKS, UNITED STATES ARMY" and published in the "Harper's Weekly", December 6, 1862. The engraving measures 9 x 11 inches in size with wide margins for framing. The Harper's masthead appears at the top of the dated sheet which measure 11 x 16 inches.

It is in very good condition with mild age toning which gives it a wonderful authentic antique appearance. Minor foxing in margin and light pencil marks above the Harper's Weekly masthead. This handsome well-drawn historic print could be framed and displayed in office or den.
