This is a Brand New kit for the Summer of 2009. The new 2.0 gallon Mixing/Bottling Bucket is great for mixing a gallon (8 bottles) at a time. We have found through customer feedback, that this is the most popular batch size. This new compact size is easier for you to use and store. It is also easier and less expensive to ship. This kit is 1/3 of the size and 1/2 the weight of our original Root Beer Kit.
Your entire family will enjoy making and drinking your own homemade root beer and soda pop. Brew Horizons stocks 10 different varieties of Homebrew brand extracts. Try them all or mix them to create your own unique blends. Kit includes enough bottles to bottle one gallon of Soda Pop, as well as, enough Root Beer Extract and yeast to make 4 - one gallon batches. Just add table sugar and water to this kit, and you are ready to make great tasting root beer at home. The yeast that is included will naturally carbonate your soda within 7 to 10 days, at room temperature. Once carbonated, refrigerate and ENJOY!!

4 feet of 3/8” FDA Approved Food-Grade Tubing
Multi-Function Spring Bottle Filler
4oz bottle Homebrew Root Beer Extract
1 packet of Wine Yeast
8 PET Amber Plastic Bottles, 0.5 liter (16.9oz)
8 Tamper-Evident Disposable Screw Caps, 28mm
2 packets of C-Brite Sanitizer
You will also need:
Water – Any water you enjoy drinking is suitable
2 cups of Table Sugar (per gallon of Root Beer)
Measuring Spoons
1 tablespoon and a 1/8 or 1/4 teaspoon
A shallow tray or pan is helpful.
Place the bottles in it when filling to catch any drips or accidental over-flow.
