This is a Lot of 2 Vintage Hardcover books --- by MARGARET WISE BROWN ....

         classics.... both beautifully illustrated

          A little dog named Muffin goes to the country for the first time....

   THE LITTLE FIR TREE -- illustrated by Barbara Cooney (Thomas Y. Crowell Company -- copyright 1954 --no other date given)

    Condition----
       Both are former library books, with mylar-covered dustjackets, and usual markings.
       The Country Noisy book is in great, clean condition.
       The LIttle Fir Tree has dj corner wear, its endpapers are a little limp, a few light random smudges, and 1 short edge tear.
       No other tears -- and have very little creasing.       

       These are Good to Very Good Reading Copies.
