Very rare authentic Marino Orlandi Made in Italy by hand (and I believe entirely by hand) XLG (largest made in this style) shoulder bag purse tote with front flap slide in secure clasp closure, high polished gold tone equistiran style hardware (all gold tone except there is some nickel on the buckle and side round grommets-when yuo look at the bag all you see is gold tone hardware), Marino Orlandi easy care crisp plaid fabric lining done in beautiful colors, wide detachable strap with 2 original snap tabs.  Instructions for positioning the strap and using the snap tabs will be included.  Color - pumpkin and coffeebean/wine.  The leather is of the thicker glazed leather including the base!   The pumpkin part has the softer glaze but is of the thicker leather.   The leather has developed a patina which is common with expensive Itlaian leathers.   I believe the leather of this bag is made of vachetta leather.   "Marino Orlandi MADE IN ITALY GENUINE LEATHER" is embossed in the leather under the flap and "Marino Orlandi" and logo is embossed in the leather north/souht on each side.  A wonderful size bag that will pack a lot and has a beautiful drop and profile.   Opens wide for ease of use.  Good to very good condition and more bordering on very good to excellent.  Clean inside and out. All stitching is tight and in tact.  Lining is still crisp.  Color even throughout.  Leather is still glazed throughout.  On the left side at the back where the flap starts right under the "o" ring and is not visable from the front or the back, there is a very tiny miniscule split in the leather-it is not visable unless you get your nose right up to look at it and if I didn't tell you it was there I doubt you would even notice it.  It is very minor and will give you no problems whatsoever.  It is even possible it came that way from Marino Orlandi and not anything that was done to the bag.  To me it looks like it came that way as their bags do not have any stress points.  Under the flap on the right side there is a faint line - it could be a light pen mark but to me it looks like a natural mar in the leather.   There is also a faint miniscule line in the interior on the fabric on the back - I think itis pencil and would damp wipe right off.   I have gone over the bag with Leather CPR several times and will go over it again a few more times before it mails - the faint line in the leather is diminishing. 

Has 3 compartments to keep you perfectly organized and you will have no stacking of your items in this roomy bag!  There is an exterior back zip compartment, and the spacious interior houses a zip compartment on the back.  This bag is the only bag I have seen in this large size in this style and color combination with the plaid fabric lining, and that the Marino Orlandi information is embossed in the leather, all which makes it very rare and a one of a kind.       

Measurements: approximately 13 inches long (bag partially stuffed laying flat measuring just below the middle from side to side), 13 and 1/4 inches tall, and 8 and 3/4 inches wide.  The wide adjustable strap has 3 prepunched holes and measures approximately 60 and 1/2 inches.   At it longest will carry longer against the hip back and away from you-can also be carried as a cross body bag-at its shortest will carry higher up under the arm.  Has five gold tone feet to protect the base and keep it sitting upright.   Sits perfectly upright when empty.  Has a beautiful drop and profile.  A very user friendly bag.   I believe the suggested retail on this bag is around $550.00 on up.  The color is strong and even throughout - any variance in color is due to shadows cast by the sun, clouds, or lighting.  All in all this is a wonderful Marino Orlandi bag with a lot of use left in it.  Marino Orlandi's colors are so saturated and their bags so well made, they will last a lifetime with proper use, storage, and maintenance.  Check out my guides on Marino Orlandi and how to maintain your treated leathers the easy way, and other guides you may find of interest.  Yes votes and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.
