Pahlo Art Refinery & Gallery

You are bidding on an original pastel landscape by artist Marlis Wise.    This piece comes with the frame you see and measures/with frame approximately 17” x 21”.  Pastels, of course, are known to have the greatest color longevity of all the art mediums as they are basically done in pure pigment.  For those of you that enjoy landscapes as much as I do this will be a great refreshing piece.  Makes a great gift.  Thanks for viewing and Happy Bidding!

The Pahlo Art Refinery & Gallery is now the PahloArt Center operated as a nonprofit community arts center by the Friends of the Pahlo Center.  Located in the Pahlo Center (above) in Marshall, Mo the 1922 structure is being remodeled to house both a healing arts center and the Pahlo Art Refinery and Gallery.  Focus for the gallery will be providing open studio/galleries for as many as 50 artists (currently 17 artists display) and a running gallery display throughout the building as well as classes and workshops.  As of November 2005 we are now open to the public every Saturday from 10:00- 4:00 pm. Winter months the physical gallery is closed are from November 17 – April 12 leaving only the Ebay store open year round.   Both the physical gallery and Ebay store are beginning to be filled with a wide variety of art.   For more information feel free to email through my Ebay link or pahloart@yahoo.com.
