These guys from Mars have been behind the scenes mainly as a supplier and manufacture for other effects lines.... (that have to go nameless here).

They have now put all this Engineering behind their own line of product as well and you will see more great affordable entries from them on-line shortly.     

The Mars TRAITOROUS TUBE  is a powerful Tube Driven Overdrive that really pump out the tone! Captures that saturated punch that only a Tube can. Uses one classic 12X7  Tube. Built very well and housed in a solid brushed metal casing. Featuring Volume, Tone and Gain control, this thing will start to sing when it is warmed up. Even features a cool Blue LED near the Tube casing for a great little effect on stage. Comes with it's own power supply.

 The"Traitorous Tube” features a dual mode switch. Overdriven mode is called “SLICK” and the other  is a stronger distortion option with plenty of harmonic overtones called “QUILLED"

Very nice stainless steel enclosure (no plastic here!) and buffered bypass metal stomp switch to assure you that it is meant to be played . They are made to withstand harsh floor-usage environments and with heavy-duty rubber on the underside, it doesn’t move or slide away easily.
