 THIS IS A NICE 1989 HD-28P.PRIOR TO 1989 THE HD-28 HAD A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT NECK PROFILE AND TO DIFFERENTIATE THE OPTION A P WAS ADDED TO THE HD-28 DESIGNATION. THE P NECK, IN REALITY IS NOW THE STANDARD LOW PROFILE NECK FOUND IN MOST MODERN MARTIN GUITARS.THE GUITAR IS SOLID SPRUCE TOP SOLID INDIAN ROSEWOOD SIDES AND BACK AND DRESSED IN HD-28 BINDINGS AND TRIM. THE GUITAR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE ACTION AT THE 12 FRET IS 7/64 THERE IS NO APPRECIABLE FRET OR FINGERBOARD WEAR. THE TOP HAS ONE SMALL DING, TOP RH BOUT, THE REST OF THE GUITAR IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.A STRAP BUTTON HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE NECK AND THE END PIN HAS BEEN FITTED TO RECEIVE A PICK UP.THERE IS NO PICKUP INSTALLED IN THE GUITAR.THE GUITAR PLAYS WELL AND SOUNDS THE WAY A MARTIN HD-28 SHOULD. THE ORIGINAL HARD SHELL CASE IS INCLUDED.
