This is a first edition book club edition of "MASTERING THE ART OF FRENCH COOKING – Volume 1" by By Julia Child and Simone Beck. It is illustrated by Sidonie Coryn. The book is a Borzoi book published by Alfred A Knopf, Inc. in 1961. It was Child's very first cookbook. This edition is in good condition with a tight binding and unblemished front and back covers although the outer dust jacket itself shows both shelf wear and has slight tears and some discoloration on the inside of the jacket itself as the accompanying photographs will show.
