These are used 12V DC precision gear motor assemblies manufactured by Maxon of Switzerland, assembly # 167405. They were pulled from new equipment and tested. We guarantee your satisfaction or your money back. It features Rare Earth motor # 118648 and planetary gear head # 118186. This motor features precious metal brushes, rare earth magnets, and is rated 1.6 watts. The motor features sleeve bearings. Maxon DC motors are among the most expensive and efficient in the world, you can not buy better quality. The no load output speed of the motor is about 8330 RPM at 12 DC. The output speed of the 157:1 planetary gear drive is about 50 RPM at 12 V DC. These motors will work on higher or lower voltages and the speed will be proportional. The output shaft of the gear drive is 3mm in diameter with a flat. There are many uses for these motors, including robotics and model trains or boats. The gear motor is 15mm in diameter by 22.5mm long, the gear head is 16mm in diameter and the overall length of the assembly is 45mm, not including the shaft. This gear motor weighs about 1.5 oz / 45grams.
