MCLOUGHLIN BROS. RAILROAD BOOK - 1930's - PICTURE BOOK

We are offering this vintage picture book titled "Railroad Book" and published by McLoughlin Brothers, Inc. during the 1930's.  This is a hard cover book with a linen binding - the binding is intact.  Inside are 2 pages of black and white drawings of trains from 1831 to "modern" locomotives of the 1930's and in between are 10 color pages depicting various scenes involving trains or train related scenes.  The cover reflects one small puncture between the R and O in Railroad and wear on the edges.  The first page has one very small tear at the top, all other pages show minor edge wear and light discoloration marks on edges (probably made by little fingers turning the pages).  The linen binding reflects an area at the bottom that has some fraying, but is otherwise in good condition.  The inside cover has a two small stains and very minimal discoloration beside the typical yellowing from age.   A wonderful book in great condition despite it's age.  It would make a great gift for a train enthusiast!  Please feel free to contact us with questions.

PAYMENT:  We accept PayPal; payment is due within 5 days.

SHIPPING: We are happy to combine shipping whenever possible and will hold shipping on a paid item for up to seven days if we are combining shipping at your request. 

We ship from our house and use Priority mail.  We believe Priority is faster, safer, cost efficient, we get a tracking number and can buy insurance if we feel we need it. Insurance protects the seller not the buyer and we will buy insurance on a case by case basis.  If you feel the Priority mail shipping rate is too high and want to ship First Class or another way, we are willing to try to make you happy.  However we will need to be compensated on packaging costs so please contact us. 

In order to ship first class international or small flat rate international we have to go to the post office and can only do that once per week on Friday.   Therefore, we don’t offer those rates in our listing but if you are willing to wait the extra time, we will ship that way.  Please contact us to make arrangements before bidding.

The mail comes around noon Eastern Time -  if you pay before noon we usually can get the package out the same day.

RETURNS:  If after receipt of the item you feel it is not what we described or are not satisfied with the item, we will accept returns within 7 days from the shipping date.  We will refund the cost of the item but not the shipping charges.  You will be responsible for return shipping costs.  Please communicate with us before returning the item.
