the back is etched with Chinese characters for "Perseverance" an ideal marking for this robust rodent.

Our patinas are achieved by means if Integrated Coloration, meaning the color is throughout the artwork in its entirety. 
  Additionally, these colors will never fade. 
Lastly, our product is preserved with a Protective Industrial Matte Sealant allowing the finished product to remain
outdoors during intense conditions, (although we do not recommend freezing environments for containers or birdbaths).
