METAL MEAS, LTR OPENER, ID CHARM, WOODEN CROCHET HOOK!!

This auction is for an interesting group of collectible items. First, there is a 6-foot metal tape measure which was “Made in U.S.A.” for Durall Tool Corp. Yonkers, N.Y. It is called the “Durall Ezy-Read” and is number 906.

Next is a (appears to be) hand carved wooden crochet hook. I would not hazard a guess as to the hook’s size, but I doubt that a collector would want to use it. The item measures 6.5 inches long with the large end at 3/8 inches in diameter.

The next item is a brass letter opener from the “New Orleans Great Northern R. R.” There is a feather-looking design at the end of the handle and another design in the middle of the opener which resembles a feather-topped crown (my imagination?). It is 8 inches long and 1 inch at its widest point. The business end of the opener has been used to (probably) turn a lock? Open a drawer? Chew on? You could certainly make up a good story about this one!

The last item is a medallion from Prudential Insurance (logo) probably car/home. It says “If found please drop in any mailbox. Return postage guaranteed Prudential coverage services 18 Plaza Newark, N.J.” (then there is a number which may be a zip?) There is an identification number on the piece also. It measures 1.5 inches by 1 1/8 inch.
