THIS IS A METTLACH INLAY LIDDED STEIN # 2530 BOAR HUNT. IT IS 1.L. IT IS DATED 1899. THE BOTTOM HAS THE METTLACH CASTLE INCISED AND VB ON THE BOTTOM. IT WAS DESIGNED BY STAHL. I COULDN'T FIND HIS SIGNATURE. THE STEIN HAS CAMEO PANELS IN HIGH RELIEF. IT MEASURES 9 1/2 INCHES TO THE TOP OF THE THUMBLIFT. THE STEIN IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR CRAZING.
