All Original Mint In Box/Never Removed From Box 1965 BRUNETTE AMERICAN GIRL -- On Consignment From An Exclusive Private Collection!. This gorgeous, unplayed with doll has a low color face with all original face paint with unfaded peach lips and bright robin's egg blue eyeshadow and even a hint of cheek blush. I see just a slight fade to her brows but they are all there -- otherwise, no rubs or fades. Porcelain like light complexion that matches the rest of her body parts perfectly. Coral red finger paint, no toe paint, never had any. Head cello not removed, these dolls had no earring holes so no green ear and no neck splits or nose nips. Her gorgeous all original dark brunette hair is extra thick and comes to well below her chin -- if her head cello was removed, her hair would be very full. Her body is mint, it has that silky, unplayed with feel, of clean, even skintone with no discolorations, except for a tiny pink dot at the side of the arm that is against the box (probably from being in the box for 40 years untouched!) . Her legs are tight at the hips and not swingy, her legs each bend at the knee and click into three separate poseable positions and hold pose (which I was carefully able to check without removing her from the box). No pin pricks, cuts or gashes. She has all of her finger and toes. She has her original American Girl pink and silver wrist tag which is attached. The body markings for this doll are: c1958/Mattel Inc./U.S. Patented/U.S. Pat. Pend./Made in Japan. She will come in her original vintage American Girl swimsuit which is mint, with vintage turquoise open toed Japan high heeled shoes in perfect condition. Her original box is in near mint condition, no corner splits or tears to the liner, original price sticker. The top and bottom of the box are both clean, with clear graphics, no marks or writing on the box. Inside the box as originally placed by Mattel is her gold wire stand and her original vintage booklet behind the liner. The box and liner are both near mint and in wonderful, unfaded condition with no splits -- just some minor shelf wear. Original Wrist tag. Wonderful vintage 1960's display piece.
