THIS IS A (10)TEN(10)-DAY, NO RESERVE, AND INTERNATIONAL COLLECTIBLE BRIAR PIPE AUCTION.PLEASE CLICK HERE TO VIEW ALL OF THE OTHER BEAUTIFUL, NEW, OR FULLY RESTORED AND RECONDITIONED HIGH GRADE COLLECTIBLE PIPES THAT I HAVE LISTED FOR AUCTION THIS WEEK ON EBAY! You
are bidding on an extremely lightly formerly enjoyed hand carved straight "Billiard" shaped pipe by the legendary American pipe carver, Mr.
Michael Butera, in 1986. This "Classic Grain" smooth straight grain pipe is stamped with a "B" in a circle, and "1986". The stem possesses the Butera signature genuine 18 karat gold dot inlay. This is a pipe that looks even better "in person" than in the below photographs. This is a gracefully artistic take on the classic billiard shaped pipe, with very clean and crisp lines. I assure you that the winning bidder is going to be absolutely delighted with this magnificent Butera pipe! As most of you know, Mike Butera has enjoyed a reputation of being the best American pipe carver of his day. His pipes were in the highest demand and were immediately snapped up by knowledgeable pipe collectors, as soon as they arrived on the market. He no longer is carving many pipes, and his pipes are still in the highest demand. Butera pipes are near impossible to ever find on the estate market for two good reasons. The first reason is that Mike carved very few pipes per year and only carved them for about ten years. The second, and most important reason is that many feel that Butera pipes are the very best performing pipes in the world. This is a very rare opportunity to acquire a Butera pipe, in a highly desirable and rarely found shape, that is in absolutely pristine condition!DO NOT MISS THIS RARE AND EXCITING OPPORTUNITY! The balance and “hand feel” are both terrific. This is one comfortable pipe to hold! The draft is nice and easy. A pipe cleaner will effortlessly glide to the bottom of the bowl. This pipe is a true high-grade work of art. Most importantly, this pipe possesses the potential to become your very favorite! Please don’t miss this one! This pipe is extremly clean. I have carefully and meticulously cleaned, sanitized,
rejuvenated, polished, and restored this masterpiece both inside and
out. The original
hand cut black acrylic stem, with its Butera "Signature" gold spot, is free from any tooth marks or scratches. The entire pipe shines like glass. It is totally issue free and is clean, clean, clean! Please see for yourself in the photographs
below! Here are the dimensions of this gorgeous pipe:
The overall length is about 5.70”. The bowl height is about 1.75”. The tobacco
chamber is about 0.85” in diameter and tapers down the bowl’s 1.50” inner
depth. Tobacco capacity is about that of a solid Group 5 size Dunhill pipe. It weighs 40 grams. The pipe bag that is pictured below, is included.I am running this as a “Private Auction” so that you can bid on this amazing pipe without worrying about stepping over your fellow pipe collector friends' bids, as well as keeping the winning bidder’s name private. This special pipe deserves discretion. I know that there will be some serious interest in this gorgeous mint condition Butera Classic Grain pipe! If requested, I will send an e-mail to the winning bidder, showing all of the bidding action at the close of this auction. I want you to bid with the highest of confidence and know that the winning bidder will get to see the list of the other bidders.
Once again, this is a TEN DAY no reserve pipe auction. I do not believe in "Reserve" or "Buy it Now" prices. I want the lucky high bidder to own and enjoy smoking this pipe and not have him frustrate himself with bidding on a pipe that is not attainable on a price basis! Just be the high bidder at the close of this auction, and you will win what could again prove to be the best pipe in your collection! Please read and review my eBay ratings and comments. Check out the "ME" section after my eBay name "coopersark". I think that you will find this information very informative and telling! Please feel free to send me an e-mail with any questions that you may have about this pipe. I want you to bid with the highest of confidence! I use only the best of packaging materials. The pipes that I ship have too much time and labor lavished on their restoration and presentations as well as the many of these pipes are irreplaceable works of art. I am not going to risk damage by using lesser packing. (In my nine years of selling pipes on eBay and shipping thousands of pipes around the world, not a single pipe has been damaged!) I also try my utmost to ship your pipe the same day that I receive your payment, even if this means making a special trip to the Post Office just for you alone. The Registered parcels that ship overseas take extensive time with both the packaging and four forms of documentation that must be filled out. Unfortunately, this all has to be reflected in my shipping costs, so please bid accordingly. The winning bidder will include an additional $15.00 for Priority Mail shipping, tracking, and insurance. (Foreign bidders will remit payment by Pay Pal ONLY and will include an additional $35.00 for International Insured EXPRESS Air Mail shipping. As per both Bay and Pay Pal rules, this pipe will ship both fully insured, with the full value declared for customs. You may have to pay additional duty. No exceptions.) Thank you for your interest. Please do not forget to check out my other auctions! Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!
